Welcome to Nigerian Women in Mathematics
The Idea of the Nigerian women in Mathematics started in July 2010 at the Pan African Congress of Mathematician (PACOM) 2010 which was held at the National Mathematical Centre Abuja. The idea then aimed at bringing Nigeria female in Mathematics together regularly for presentation of their research and to foster collaboration among them.

NWM was created on 8th July 2014, after the participation of 146 Nigerian women mathematicians and 3 paper presentation at the inaugural meeting held at the department of Mathematics, University of Ibadan.
